Unique Local Spots

As the weather gets warmer, people in McKinney are ready to start exploring unique local spots where they can have fun outdoors. We at El Dorado Mazda think you should check out some of these places for a cool and unusual experience.

Chestnut Square:

This historic village park is designed to preserve the culture and history of the area with historical reenactment actors and authentic settings. Explore six local historic homes and the people who lived in them.

Adriatica Village:

A more recent establishment, Adriatica Village brings the charm and architecture of a European village to modern life, with everything from residential housing to retail and restaurant businesses.

Mitas Hill:

This one’s not for the little ones. Enjoy the stunning landscape of the Mitas Hill vineyards and enjoy any of many locally made glasses of wine. You can even hop over to the wine bar for great food made on site.

Collin County Farm Museum:

It doesn’t get much more quirky than this! Explore Collin County’s rural roots and get in touch with the earliest farming settlements in the area at the farm museum. Various artifacts and restored exhibits are available to the public.

Hopefully one of these unique local spots has piqued your interest, so why don’t you pick a day and give it a whirl?
